John Carpenter releases new track ‘Angel’s Asylum’ from Lost Themes II

9 March, 2016 — by Christopher Ratcliff0

Everyone’s favourite kindly Grandad who also has a knack for telling bloodcurdling horror stories, John Carpenter has today shared ANOTHER track from his forthcoming album Lost Themes II, called ‘Angel’s Asylum’.

It’s another brilliant piece instrumental that doubles perfectly as the soundtrack for a moderately harrowing ghost-train ride and an 80s school disco. It’s exactly my favourite kind of music.

Lost Themes II is out on April 15th on Sacred Bones, and if ‘Angel’s Asylum’ and previous single ‘Distant Dream’ are anything to go by, it’ll be just as ace/chilling as John Carpenter’s debut album Lost Themes only released last year.

Also if you want to come with us to see him performing live at the Troxy, London on Halloween Night, then that would be awesome. Not that we’re scared of going alone and need someone to hold our hand or anything. It’s just, you know… if you were free and stuff. NO YOU’RE A WUSSPANTS!
