The sun is shining, it's a Bank Holiday weekend coming up and I have found five cool things happening on the London food scene that will make your week even better. Including National Burger Day, fried chicken from Boondocks, a Rumfest and 50% off steak and Turkish food.

Eight best street foods to eat at Street Feast: Hawker House, Canada Water
Hawker House is run by the Street Feast team who gather together some of London's best street food vendors and put them all in one place so you can sample the best street food London has to offer without having to actually walk the streets. They have been running Street Feast events in four locations across London for the past few years and Hawker House is the south London sister of Dinerama in Shoreditch which we checked out last year.

Bombetta London: delicious bundles of meaty joy in Snaresbrook
Bombetta London's menu draws inspiration from the Italian farming communities of Puglia where villagers would gather together at the butcher's shop to eat pieces of meat that had been rolled up with cheese and cured meats and then roasted over a fire. These meaty treats are Bombetta, and this idea of communal sharing of simple dishes and delicious meat on sticks is what Bombetta London have now brought to Wanstead. I don't know about you but that sounds pretty good, huh?
