Unless you have been living under a rock you can't have missed the fact that it was National Burger Day on Thursday 25th August 2016! My absolute favourite day of the year when people gather to pay homage to this glorious, greasy foodstuff and generally eat a shit-ton of burgers and get a bit fat. (Sounds like my average Friday night! Fnar!)
London has exploded in recent years with a whole host of dining experiences and supper clubs. Always on the lookout for 'new ways to eat dinner' apparently (see last year's Twin Peaks experience for a start) Londoners have lapped these up and there seems to be no stopping them. Django Bango Gold Rush are the latest posse to hitch their wagon to this train by laying on a Wild West themed dining experience in Vauxhall.
I finally made it to Dip N Flip! The small but ever-growing chain of burger restaurants that serve up their burgers and fries with a side of delicious gravy for dunking. Yes, you heard me correctly people, gravy!
Sometimes the best and worst thing you can say about a restaurant is: "it was good". But if your restaurant is part of the ever-growing and super popular MEATliquor chain then hearing that something was merely "good" is probably like a knife to the heart.
