Bombetta London's menu draws inspiration from the Italian farming communities of Puglia where villagers would gather together at the butcher's shop to eat pieces of meat that had been rolled up with cheese and cured meats and then roasted over a fire. These meaty treats are Bombetta, and this idea of communal sharing of simple dishes and delicious meat on sticks is what Bombetta London have now brought to Wanstead. I don't know about you but that sounds pretty good, huh?

Best Sandwiches in London: The Cheese Truck, Maltby St Market
I love cheese, a lot. So I had to check out The Cheese Truck at Maltby Street Market and their infamous toasted cheese sandwiches. I was not disappointed.

Holy Cheezus! We ate a burger between two cheese toasties!
A couple of weeks ago in my London food news roundup I mentioned that The Blue's Kitchen's burger of the month for April 2016 is The Holy Cheezus: a glorious creation of a burger served between two toasted cheese sandwiches! Seriously. Ever the dedicated journo (or fatty) I popped down to The Blue's Kitchen in Shoreditch last week to check out this bad boy for myself.

Cheese Dreams: Androuet, Old Spitalfields Market – Restaurant Review
Warning: may end in cheese puns.
I like cheese. I like cheese a whole damn bunch. So one of my favourite places to go when I feel like some fancy cheese is Androuet in Old Spitalfields Market. It’s an awesome little place that stocks hundreds of fresh cheeses, mostly from France but they have German, Swiss and British cheeses too.
