Run the Jewels have just unleashed their new video for ‘Love Again’. the filthy yet oddly romantic track featuring Gangsta Boo from the 2014 masterpiece Run the Jewels 2.
The video itself is the nature equivalent of old stock footage featuring trains going into tunnels and wells being pumped for oil, although obviously much dirtier and has provoked a minor debate about whether it’s technically NSFW or not. Either way, it’s a beautifully shot, full-on National Geographic gem, that has turned a sultry sex-rap into a feminist masterpiece…
And as a bonus, Run the Jewels have also announced an appearance on DJ Shadow’s forthcoming new album The Mountain Will Fall, out June 24th. The track will also feature on our very favourite US comedy Silicon Valley (which seems to consistently have the very best music taste of all television) when its third season premieres on April 24th.
